Diversity is the driving force that enables Marathon Machine to meet and exceed our client's expectations. We have coupled the latest in modern technology, along with old-fashioned workmanship to create an attractive blend of products and services to meet today's demanding markets. We utilize four CNC vertical machining centers, including 4th axis capabilities. We also operate four CNC turning centers, with 3 ½ inch through bar capacity, equipped with live tooling and C axis, which allow us to efficiently handle almost any turning requirement. Value added services include surface grinding and jig grinding for all of your precision tooling requirements, as well as in house heat treating for small lot items. We also offer fabrication services including engineering. We are experienced in designing and manufacturing welding and machining fixtures for other fabrication shops. We have experience in machining a wide range of materials, including plastics, aluminum, copper, magnesium, stainless steel, tool steel, aerospace alloys, and many other materials. Production runs, prototypes, jigs, fixtures, hydraulic cylinders, and precision weldments are all a part of our expertise. OEM manufacturers, aerospace, electronics, automotive, and agriculture sectors have all benefited from our ability to deliver precision parts on time. Quality is paramount. We utilize modern inspection equipment, including a CMM, a digital inspection microscope, and a Romer portable CMM, to make sure the parts meet customer quality reqirements. We are capable of machining parts to tolerances as close as a few ten-thousandths of an inch. We are exceeding our customers’ quality expectations - with the last report from our largest customer indicating a quality rate of 99.95%, well above the industry average.
